Panel views: Although the UN remains more popular than President Bush in the US, some people in the organisation must be seriously worried about the steep decline in support for the UN among the US public. Pew, a polling agency, says support for the UN has fallen from 75 per cent in 2001 to around 55 per cent in 2005. But it is not just the US public that is showing serious signs of frustration.
